Refund Policy

1. Overview

This Refund Policy explains when and how you can request a refund for services booked through Eddytrip. Refund eligibility depends on the service category, partner policy, and the circumstances of the cancellation.

2. Mobile data & eSIM

  • Unused, unactivated eSIMs may be refunded within 14 days of purchase.
  • Once an eSIM is activated, refunds are generally not available unless the eSIM is technically unusable due to a fault attributable to Eddytrip.
  • Partial-use refunds are not available for short-duration data plans.

3. Vehicle rentals

  • More than 24 hours before pickup: full refund minus a small administrative fee (where applicable).
  • Less than 24 hours before pickup: partner cancellation terms apply; refund may be partial or unavailable.
  • No-shows: non-refundable.
  • Early returns: not refundable for prepaid rentals unless agreed with the partner.
  • Cancellation by partner (vehicle unavailable, weather closure, etc.): full refund issued.

4. Attraction tickets

  • Refundability depends on the attraction operator. Refundability is shown clearly before purchase.
  • For non-refundable tickets, no refund is available except where the attraction is closed by the operator or by law on the booked date — in which case a full refund is issued.
  • Date-changes may be available depending on operator policy.

5. Tours & experiences

  • More than 48 hours before tour start: typically eligible for full refund.
  • 24–48 hours before: 50% refund (tour-dependent).
  • Less than 24 hours / no-show: non-refundable.
  • Cancelled by operator (weather, safety, minimum participants not met): full refund or free reschedule.

6. Force majeure

If your booking is cancelled due to circumstances outside reasonable control — natural disasters, government closures, public-health restrictions, war — Eddytrip will offer either a full refund or a free reschedule, subject to partner cooperation and any cost recovery from third parties.

7. How to request a refund

  1. Open the Eddytrip app, find the booking under "My Bookings", and tap "Request Refund". Provide a brief reason.
  2. Or write to hello@eddytrip.com with the booking reference and a brief explanation.
  3. We will acknowledge your request within 2 business days and confirm the outcome within 7 business days.

8. How refunds are paid

Refunds are returned to the original payment method used at booking. Processing time depends on your payment provider (typically 5–10 business days for card refunds, 1–3 business days for local wallets).

9. Disputes

If you disagree with the outcome of a refund decision, contact legal@eddytrip.com. You may also have rights under the consumer-protection law of Vietnam or your jurisdiction.

10. Changes

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. The version applicable to your booking is the version in effect when you completed the booking.
