1. Spirit of this policy
Eddytrip works because travellers and local partners trust the platform. This Acceptable Use Policy sets out the conduct we expect of everyone using our Services. Behaviour that breaks this trust will result in suspension or termination.
2. Identity and verification
- Provide accurate, truthful identity information.
- Do not impersonate another person or create multiple accounts.
- Do not share your account credentials or your Trust Badge with anyone else.
- Do not use a stolen, expired, or forged passport, visa, or other identity document.
3. Conduct toward partners and other users
- Treat partners and other users with basic respect. Threats, harassment, hate speech, or discrimination are not tolerated.
- Honour booking commitments — show up on time, return rental vehicles in agreed condition, follow tour operator instructions.
- Pay outstanding amounts when due.
- Report problems through Eddytrip support rather than disputing in person.
4. Property and vehicles
- Use rented vehicles lawfully and as intended. Follow all Vietnamese road rules. Do not drive under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
- You must hold a valid driving licence accepted in Vietnam for the vehicle you rent.
- Damage caused by misuse, accident, or negligence is your responsibility per the rental terms.
5. Tickets and tours
- Tickets are non-transferable unless explicitly stated.
- Do not resell tickets or tours acquired through Eddytrip for commercial purposes.
- Follow venue rules, tour guide instructions, and safety briefings.
6. Fraud and abuse
The following are strictly prohibited and may be reported to authorities:
- Fraudulent bookings, chargebacks, or refund claims.
- Use of stolen payment cards or compromised accounts.
- Money laundering, financing of unlawful activity, or evasion of sanctions.
- Manipulating reviews, ratings, or promotional codes.
- Reverse-engineering, scraping, or unauthorised access to the Services.
- Distribution of malware, phishing, or denial-of-service activity.
7. Anti-trafficking and protection of minors
Eddytrip operates a zero-tolerance policy on human trafficking, child sexual exploitation, and any commercial activity that endangers minors. Suspected activity will be reported to Vietnamese authorities and relevant international bodies.
8. Lawful use
You must use the Services only for lawful purposes and in compliance with Vietnamese law and the laws of any other jurisdiction that applies to you.
9. Enforcement
Breach of this policy may result in: warning, suspension of your account, termination, cancellation of bookings without refund, civil action, and referral to law enforcement. Eddytrip determines the appropriate response based on the seriousness of the breach.

If you witness or experience behaviour that violates this policy, or you believe a partner or user is unsafe, write to hello@eddytrip.com. Urgent safety concerns: contact local emergency services first.
