1. Accepted payment methods
Eddytrip accepts the following payment methods, depending on your location and the service category:
- International credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, JCB, American Express where supported).
- Vietnamese digital wallets (MoMo, ZaloPay, VNPay) where available.
- In-app payment methods integrated with our payment processors.
- For vehicle rentals, you may also choose to "pay at the partner" at handover, where supported by the partner.
2. Currency and exchange
Prices are typically shown in Vietnamese Dong (VND), with the option to view equivalents in major currencies. Final billing is in VND. Your bank may apply a foreign-exchange fee depending on your card issuer.
3. Authorisation and capture
When you book, your payment method may be authorised for the full booking amount immediately. Funds are captured at the time of booking confirmation (or at a different point if your booking is on a "pay at partner" basis). For some rentals, an additional authorisation hold may be placed as a security deposit and released when the vehicle is returned in agreed condition.
4. Receipts and invoicing
Receipts are issued by email after successful payment. Tax invoices (VAT invoices) may be available on request for eligible Vietnamese-domiciled customers; contact hello@eddytrip.com.
5. Security of payment data
Eddytrip does not store full payment-card numbers on its servers. Card details are processed by PCI-DSS-compliant payment providers. We retain only the minimum payment metadata needed for reconciliation, refunds, and fraud prevention.
6. Failed payments
If a payment fails, the booking is not confirmed. You may retry with the same or a different payment method. We are not responsible for charges levied by your bank for failed payment attempts.
7. Chargebacks and disputes
If you dispute a charge, please contact hello@eddytrip.com first — most issues are resolved more quickly directly with us than through the chargeback process. Chargebacks raised without first contacting us, or chargebacks where Eddytrip has clear evidence of service delivery, may result in account suspension and additional collection action.

9. Pricing transparency
We display prices inclusive of applicable platform fees before you confirm a booking. We do not add surprise fees at handover. If a service includes optional add-ons (e.g., helmet rental, insurance), those are itemised before payment.
10. Taxes
Where required by law, Vietnamese VAT and applicable taxes are included in the displayed price.
